Teertham is Gajandra pushkarani and Kapila teertham. Main Deity is Gajanderan Varadhan and his consort known as Ramamani valli thayar. This is one of 108 divya desam and also known as pancha Krishna kshetram.The place is about 3kms from papanasam. The idol of Narashimar was made by Viswakarma the sculptor and installed by installed by Guru Vamadevar of King Vasantharajan. King Vasantharajan requested Lord Narasimhar to stay in this place and bless his devotees. Sthala Purana says to rescue his devotee King Vsantharajan, Lord Narasimhar with flaming fury destroyed demon Parikalan in this place. Lord Vinayakar and Garuda are seen in the temple. Sri Varadaraja Perumaal is seen facing south. We get darshan of Veera Aanjaneyar and Baktha Aanjaneyar in the temple.

Teertham here is known as Nagakoopam / Garuda Teertham. Here in the temple we see both Narasimhar and Lakshmi Thayar are seen embracing each other which denote Lord Graces his devotees with mercy. Main Deity is Lakshmi Narasimhar and Thayar known as Kanakavalli. Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar is seen seated facing east under Ashtakona Vimanam in this temple. Mayan was blessed with this vision and was asked to ask for a boon again - and Mayan again asked the Lord to be present in the same form for all 4 yugas and give dharshan to all the devotees who come to the temple - and behold even today the Lord is giving the same dharshan to all the devotees visiting the temple.The place Parrikkal is about 3 kms from Vizhupuram to Ulunderpet Road. Sriman Naryana gave dharshan as Sri Kola Villi Raman ( Sringara Sundaran ) with all his beauty, with his four hand form having Shanka, Chakra, Abhaya Hastha and Kati Hastha with bow & arrow on his shoulders and flanked by Sri Devi and Bhu Devi. Pleased by his service, the Lord granted a boon to Mayan and Mayan requested the boon that the Lord should give dharshan as Sri Rama, the avatar which Lord will be taking in the future.
